First off, I wanted to take the time to thank you all and your parents for coming out to the orientation last night. As described, our class has a ton of content and information we will have to learn throughout the course of two years, which I hope you are all excited and open minded about all of the different disciplines and programs we will be learning together as a class!
Just a few additional reminders for everybody today. If you are ready for IMP, super awesome and can’t wait to see you starting next school year. However, if you are second guessing about being in the class or the content isn’t for you, please make sure to speak with your parent or guardian to talk about steps to switching out of the class. We do have a wait list of 50+, so someone would surely fill the seat if last night‘s information wasn’t your cup of tea.
Also, our class is super creative, exciting, and fun, but we do still follow school policies and procedures directly from Cecil County Public Schools Guidelines. We will review these on the first day of class. As an additional note, when attending my class as a student, you must be respectful, kind, and caring to all within the classroom at all times. I don’t tolerate bullying, hate, or anything that would lead to issues, I expect all of us to be professional within the class. If you have further questions on this, please email me privately to discuss.
With this being said, I’m also attaching the orientation packet from last night to this email for all to review. If you were not at the orientation last night, this document will help you take a look at what to expect heading into next year if you stick with the class.
Thank you all again for attending and your interest in this class. I can’t wait to start in the Fall of 2024 and bring in another amazing class of students to learn the vast and amazing world of Interactive Media Productions. One more time for the greater good, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns and I’ll make sure to answer them accordingly. Happy Friday and talk and see some of you soon!
