Students of CNA/GNA completed a skills Practice. These skills included bedpan management, washing patient feet, etc. Each of these skills are important steps towards certifications.
One of the skills performed was bedpan management. The importance of the bed pan is to care for patients with infections while providing a high level of care. As you can see from this image, the student is preparing to place the bedpan under the patient.
Another skill performed was a foot wash. Foot washing is very important not only to maintain good hygiene but also to prevent other health issues. Not only could these health conditions affect your feet but they can also affect your back.
